Services

We Provide

  • I currently only offer teletherapy appointments. This allows for flexibility and accessibility.

Teletherapy allows you to be in a comfortable setting of your choosing so that you can feel safe being vulnerable and open during our sessions.

Some people have concerns that teletherapy will make it difficult to connect to their therapist, but this has not been my experience. I have been able to form close and trusting relationships utilizing teletherapy. Contact me today to see if teletherapy is a good fit for you.

  • You will easily be able to contact your therapist through the patient portal. Through the portal, you will be able to securely and privately message your therapist, schedule/change/cancel appointments, download and fill out documents, make secure payments, and receive homework/educational material for your treatment.

  • I provide a psychodynamic supervision style to doctoral and masters level clinicians.

Psychodynamic Therapy

I utilize an integrated approach that allows me to tailor my treatment to each unique individual. I lean towards seeing people through a psychodynamic lens, which means that I look at your past to see how it is impacting your present. When we are able to break away from unhealthy patterns, we are set free to be the people we want to be.

Skill-Building

The beginning of therapy usually involves building skills that will help you cope better in your day-to-day life. Skills that are commonly introduced are as follows: communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, emotion regulation tools, assistance with emotion identification and emotion expression, and organization and attention plans.

Coping Strategies

An important part of the therapy process is learning coping skills to practice when anxiety and depressive symptoms seem overwhelming. Some of these skills are grounding, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness.
